Alexander He

Welcome to my website! I am an MSc Statistics student at the University of Toronto under the supervision of Professor Ting-Kam Leonard Wong. I recently finished my undergraduate studies in two Specialist programs; Economics and Mathematics (Joint-program) and Statistical Sciences: Theory and Methods at UofT.

My current research interest lies in Biostatistics and Optimal Transport with applications to Statistical Genetics, which will be the focus of my research project course as part of my graduate studies.

I was fortunate to be a Summer Undergraduate Data Sciences (SUDS) 2025 Scholar at the UofT Data Sciences Institute under the supervision of Professor Elizabeth Dhuey. In Summer 2024 I was a research assistant for Professors Daniel Gregory and Andrei Swidinsky at the UofT Department of Earth Sciences. In Summer 2026 I was co-supervised by Professor Jane Z Wang (UBC) and Professor Xiaohui Chen (USC) as a post-undergraduate researcher working on deep medical imaging.
